We will announce very soon how you can participate!

Who can participate?

Students

The challenge is open to teams of undergraduate and postgraduate students from universities in Latin American and the Caribbean region.

The challenge will be comprised of two phases: Qualifying Phase and Competition Phase.

In the Qualifying Phase, twenty participants with the most promising applications will have their project opened to public vote. The students are encouraged to produce videos and supporting documents to demonstrate how their applications work.

These projects will be announced and the community will have a period of about three weeks to vote. The top ten participants who got the highest vote will go to the next phase.

The winners selected to continue on the second and final round (Competition Phase) will have a month to polish their applications. For a qualified final submission, the participants must submit their executable file or URL with instructions on how to download and install it. The participant will be required to include any additional installation file(s) and/or user guidelines.

Finally, the Mobile Citizen Selection Committee will announce the top three projects that will receive cash and prizes.
